Salli's Possum Hunting (:

So I woke up in the middle of the night at my bestfriend Salli's house, shes slipping on her brown ugg boots.. she moves over to bamboo stick in the corner of her room.. she slowly picks up her sharping stone and looks slyly around the room to check if anyones looking and if anyones coming. Salli started to sharpen her bamboo sticks.. I was wondering what she was doing so i got up and asked her "What're you doing salli?" She said "Dont worry Lil, just going out for abit, i'll be back soon (:" I was to tired to think anythink of her strange actions and behaviour so went back to my sweet sweet dream. She leaves the house and I doze off to sleep.. next minute stomp stomp STOMP up the stairs goes Salli. I wake up, look up at Salli who was holding 3 possums. I jumped up.. WHAT THE HECK, shes gone out possum hunting in the middle of the night, first i look over and see her sharpening her bamboo now shes come back with 3 possums! Then she askes me to help her cook a Possum mushroom strew!

Atlas Journal 2

9/1/11
Had a very good ride today on Atlas:) I rode with Emma, Atlas was good, we walked over to the arena and did some work in the arena.. I now know that Atlas is scared of the sand that the wind raises.. so he spooks at it.. hahaha. Was very funny, but he was good, went right around the corners. He was a little bit naughty but hadnt ridden him since Wednesday. TB's need constant work! There very active horseys! Also figured out that the grass is far to rich for atlas in the paddock he's in. He has serious chronic Daiorhrea from the rich grass.. poor boy. So i'll have to paddock him for the first 2 days when he goes into a paddock with rich grass!

But I had a splendid day allround even with Atlas's naughty spills!

Vampire Diaries

Ah today was pretty awesome! Just stayed at home and watched all the season 2 vampire diaries! AHH I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH!! :D

Atlas Journal 1

Today was good, I got up atlas and he got his hooves done! My barefoot trimmer Pete, got a new little puppy.. his name is Buster. He was ultimatley cute! Atlas absoulty loved him.. if only I had my camera out it would havebeen the most perfect picture ever!! They were sniffing nose to nose and it was adorable! Atlas's hooves were pretty good.. still got a little bit of seedy toe which were fixing:) Yet again, we forgot to measure his hooves to get hoof boots! ARGH!! So annoying.. each time we forget! Were changing it to every 5 weeks now as his front hooves grow ever so fast now! Buster kept gonig under Atlas and around him and eating his toe clippings it was quite cute, but then.. Atlas accidently stood on Busters poor leg :( So he was yelping and it was just a little cofuffle! But he's okay, Pete said it had to happen sooner or later for him to learn to not go so close!
Overall.. GREAT day.. Atlas is cute!!

Atlas Journal

So I normally write in my diary when I go to Atlas(my horse) and what we did, or whaat happened. But i'm also gonna start posting on my blog :) Atlas is getting his hooves done at 10am today so will be going out then to see him. Will hopefully go for a ride in the paddock after :) Need to get his hooves measured so we can buy him some old mac boots! Since he's barefoot and not shod with shoes theres more pressure on the front on his two hooves so will be easier for him when he has his boots on and wont hurt as much!
So, will blog when I get back about how it all went :D
